LBC EXPRESS Shipping guidelines. How to pack a Balikbayan box. Tape all seams using clear wide box tape, be generous with tape so that there won't be a problem with the box breaking open. Secure fragile and breakable items with bubble wrap clothing or old newspapers stuffed around fragile items in your box. If you are sending clothing we recommend put them in separate plastic bags so outside or inside moisture cannot damage them. it is wise to use large ziploc's to isolate food items, toiletries, etc from breaking inside the box. Do not overstuff the box to the point the boxes bulge these will be rejected. You must declare electronic items and pay duty tax when filling out a customs declaration forms at our warehouse. Do not put illegal items or anything flammable in the boxes. Make sure that you put the complete name, address, and phone number of the sender and recipient so it is clearly visible on the outside of the box.
